These two below should be HOT right now.
Talking to everyone (wal-mart fishing department),.they are catching them on tubes with this same color.

I know the top one is,I caught a 2 1/2 lb one and a 2 lb one and several smaller ones the last trip on a white and a black version of that very fly.Thanks

Dude, those are some great looking ties! I love the crawfish pattern. If you don't mind me askin where do you find trout up that way? tailwaters or streams? great looking work! bm

Thanks, They stock the tail waters of Carrs Fork, Paintsville,Buckhorn, just to name a few. They also stock some of the local streams up until about July, Line fork, Greasy creek. The smallie fishing is great up here check out the thread on floating the Tug. If your up this way give us a yell and we will go for trout or smallies which ever you like.

Fisher, I like your flies, and if my experience is worth anything, the smallies love them also. If I knew how to upload photos I'd put up a couple of shots of some of mine, but it's so hard to teach an old dog new tricks (so they say)! Looks like we are going to have plenty of time to fill our fly boxes this winter. I would almost rather make flies than fish, but the fish always win out in the end. Hope ;you had a grand Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the Christmas Season with all its blessings. Keep the fly photos coming!

Thanks for the kind words Geezer. Yeah it's going to get a lot colder for the next few months, I'll be tying up some new Ideas I have for some topwater and a few bottom draggers. If you have your pics on your computer you can send them to me through my email adress. Simply send them to your deskktop then compose an email and then click the attachment section . It will ask you where to get your attachment from, hit desktop . fFnd the pic and click on it. Then send me the email and I will put your pics on. I will send you my email address in a pm on here. I'm really looking forward to doing some fishing with you in the spring, it can't come soon enough for me. I love fishing for smallies.

Nice bugs, where are you getting the different color tube foam for the WM's.

I like the blue, and red and multicolor. Got to get some of that.
