ready to do some smallie fishing in the wider parts of powell and cumberland this year...hopefully will have everything ready to go in a few days to start in on the walleye run....anyone been doing any good so far?

Not yet the water is still a little cold and high and we are getting a lot of rain today ::upset:: ::upset:: . I would say around a week or two and the action will really start.

cool, well have to go. im in hazard all the time (GF lives there)...so well have to hit the rivers up this spring.

The white & striper run is on now on head waters of Fishtrap,,,, I hear. Probably the same happening on the Buckhorn.

I would say that it is right now. The guys that have been fishing just about fish year round, or anytime the water levels allow.
