JD...Fish....You all good for this weekend? If so Fish you can bring your boat...Ive got one me and my buddy Bryan can use...and Fish will have a fella named Bubba with him or another one of his friends.
Let me know if this sounds good to yall.

i think its down by morristown tn...which if thats the case...about 45 minutes. not that bad at all. plus the whole way to m-town you drive over clinch and big sycamore creek, both which some killer looking spots that you can see from the road.

Yeah I've been by the Holston many times and just like the Clinch it is a great looking river. I'm trying to get everything done so I can go. Like I said before, I'm looking forward to going if I can.

It takes me @ 45 min. From my house to get there. If you look at a map, we are going to be bewteen Surgoinsville and Kingsport. Church Hill is the name of the town closest by. Its small. Near Holston Army ammo plant. Come down 25E from Middleboro to 11W ,then go NE. Hope this helps.

How close is it to Kingsport? That may be the best way for me to go.

Click on link then zoom "out" at aerial view. Some small islands to eat lunch on. Plenty of places to wade. We will put in near the ammo plant. Take out at Laurel Run Park

Thanks, I'm about two hours from kingsport so I'm thinking that is the quickest way for me. I'll look at the site and see but It will probably be shorter for me that way, and a lot better roads. Hope I get everything done, I'm looking forward to a good fishing trip. thanks again

This is where we are taking out at "red star" Click areial image. We will put in at Holston Ord. Works "labeled" upriver from park. @ 2.5hr float straight thru. Figured we can fish it hard and make a long or short day of it. Most other areas are a super long float. Trust me it makes a long hard day on everyone. Done one that was supposed to be 5 miles. Turned out to be an 11hr float, and everyone was dead at the end of the day. If we get done quick, plenty of spots close by to wade and fish...

If I can come I will probably camp for a day or two so I don't have a two hour trip after the fishing trip. I've done a lot of whitewater rafting and canoeing,so I understand what your saying about being worn out . If anyone want to camp out they are more than welcome to join me .
