First you need a qtip with a hollow plastic handle and foam sheets 2mm( You can find it at wal mart or any craft store).

Cut 3/4" section of the qtip handle, then cut four strips of foam 1/8" wide x1 1/4" (use two different colors).

Take the section of qtip and slide it on a tooth pick so you can mount it on the vise. Then make a thread base.

Place one of the strips on the thread base and wrap three or four times.

Repeat this process until you have all four strips on the plastic tube.

Then take the foam and fold it back on itself and wrap about 10 times and tie the thread off. Add a drop of crazyglue to the thread to secure it.

Image

To use, slide it up on your tippet and secure with a small section of tooth pick or anything you find that will work.
(just like you would pin a sinker to mono line when worm fishing) .
Then tie on your fly and your ready to fish.
