Uncle and I went out Saturday and was able to hear two turkeys gobbling. They didn't gobble much but they did gobble!!! Still early but this nice 70 degree weather may get them a little cranked up in the mornings.

Went out again today: March 13th. Turkeys are gobbling again. I think this weather is getting them ready. We heard about 10 gobbles from 4 different birds.

Sounding good :) Just 31 days until general season :)

Youth season is a week less than that.

Wish I could get out, seems though there's not enough hours in the day for me right now,..to much work to do at the present time :(

Haven't been out yet,..but I did get a report this morning from reliable person who said the were gobbling big time in front of his house. He has heard about 5-6 toms in two different directions. Said the hens were yelping big time also. :)

Went up to Fern Lake this morning before I left for work to be greeted by what sounded like dozens of birds gobbling their brains out. Put a smile right on my face :D
