Decided to get the old lathe out and see what can be made from this piece of walnut I've been keeping for about 10 years.

To be continued :)

Well I got a new lathe and had time to turn a call this weekend. This is a Oak pot,..glass over glass, still waiting on the glue to dry so I can see how she sounds.

Well with seven coats of lacquer these are about ready for gluing the sound boards and glass in. Two of them is a 7 hole design and the other two are a 9 hole. All are made of eastern ky black walnut.
