I caught 10 all together, the first picture is of a smallie I caught on the Middle fork , then some people started swimming and ruined the fishing. So I decided to go back and fish the North for a while the second smallie I caught there . The picture of the River is the North fork near Hazard, It's has always been a productive stretch of water. The water has dropped about 4 inches from where it was last sunday ,if we don't get some rain soon I'm afraid the fishing will suffer even more than it has. But today if those people hadn't started swimming I do believe I could have caught a bunch on the middle because they were biting good :D . Image Image Image

couldn't get up with BCO, so I went alone but had a good time .Did you notice that the water just disappers at one point in the picture? theres a good drop in the river at that point and below it is one of the nices looking holes of water in that area.

No problem , I figured something had come up .the number that I gave you is my home phone. I don't have a cell phone but I'm getting one because my wife is worried that some of these places that I fish she would never find if
I had my vehicle breakdown. I rode up the road by the middle fork about a mile and it goes on and on with all kinds of fishing holes. People were hauling their fourwheelers on trailers to go riding up in there. If you can find a trailer bring your four wheeler and the mule and we will go up in there and do some fishing (make a whole day of it.

that's fine with me. I just hope that we get some rain this week because like I said both rivers had dropped about four inches in only a week and if we don't get any rain this week the water levels will be even lower. May have to do some riding to get to some good fishing spots
.

Yeah, I think I could have caught what I caught on the middle fork the week before if those people had not started swimming . But they have as much right to the river as me, and the road was a little to rough for my van so I decided to go back to the North. I hope your right about the rain it may make the fishing even better. Have you talked to MJ about how they did on the Holston, man I wanted to go just couldn't get things done that I nedded to get done. :(

Finally, had a pretty good rain last night, got the ground pretty wet. I don't think it was enough to raise the water levels any but it did help. Hope it improves the fishing for this weekend :D .
