This is one of three low water dams that I know of in the Hazard area. This one is located at the intersection of East Main Street(route 451)and Moreland Avenue(woodland park). There have been some big smallies caught out of this area.

i dont know if i will get to do much fishing this weekend...it is my GFs last weekend before she starts 2nd year of med school. i may see if i can convince her to ride up leslie county this weekend and check that place on middle fork you were talking about. i think she will be up for it, will let you know for sure in coming days.

i had surgery done on sapphire yesterday. i had her speyed and had her nipples worked on. she also had some tumors removed...have to wait a week for test results to make sure they are not malignent. doc said she should be a lot better in 10 days.

been shooting skeet a lot to get ready for october...man i cant wait. with all the bad luck ive had fishing, ive had grouse hunting on the brain a lot. i cant wait for october. we need to get together and bust some clays buddy. give my cell a holler.

OH! and by the way bill...benny collins and myself are planning a grouse hunting trip to canada in late october. let me know if youre interested.
