not only in the meterological sense...but in the fishing sense.

i swear it seems like i aint caught jack in the past 2 months almost...a few smaller ones here and there but nothing to write home about...

cant wait to start catching some fish again...this is one of the worst slumps ive ever had...

Looks like we are not going to get any rain here to speak of this week. Yesterday it looked like a big storm was headed our way but it broke up before it got here .there are stroms headed in this direction today but I doubt they will make it. That has been the pattern this summer,I'm usually the first one to get mad when the rain muddys the rivers .But I would welcome it today.

no joke...disappointing as far as rain goes this week. water is really really down everywhere...fern lake isnt usually this down til september...the head is already starting to completely dry up...if we dont get some serious, serious rain, by late sept/october it will be super bad.
supposed to get rain last night, like you said i think the majority broke up before it got here. and theyre giving rain today but the radar shows a different story.

one up side...saturday the high is supposed to be 81...makes for great riding weather and fishing temp too.

Yeah, it seems that every weekend has been just beautiful, but the fish have just not wanted to bite, makes it a little frustrating. Seems like a great day is catching 10 or 15, last year that was a slow day  ,. Well like mamma always says "on through the fog".

Man we got "RAIN" tonight ,I thought they had outlawed it. It was dark here when it started ,so I don't know if it raised the creek that runs by the house but it rained steady for about 2 hours(I hope it did). :D :D :D :D

tried fishing powell last night....man oh man was the water up...and murky. too fast and too dirty to do much fishing, we left after 30 minutes of not a bite. im hoping it will really improve the fishing in the next few days though.

If we get any more rain this weekend may be a wash. but it will be worth it if it helps the fishing. :D

man alive its coming down like a cow on a flat rock right now...and from the radar looks like it will be all night and maybe tomorrow morning. this is really gonna raise waters in the rivers for a few days...supposed to rain tomorrow and sunday too. that means next weekend will probably be really good.
