I've been thinking about trying to do a write up on some sort of GPS tutorial. One about making great looking track logs, getting good waypoints, etc.

I was just wondering if there would be much interest in it before I put any time into it. I've gotten quite a bit of experience in the subject over the past few years, and would like to share some of what I learned.

It would be pretty much Garmin based, because it seems to be the popular brand, most garmins share the same functions, and it's what I'm most familiar with. Most things should work across all brands though, and anyone with any brand could gain information from it.

To do a good job it would take some time to write up good though. So that's why I'm wondering if there would be much interest.

This is one of those projects I have tried to start a hundred different times, with different levels of success.

There is sure a lot more that goes into a small tutorial than one would think, with different models of GPS, different levels of experience, etc.
