The Albright Knot is used to join mono filaments with different diameters. It is commonly used by fly fisherman.
With ends trimmed the knot will slide through the guides easily.

Thanks fish,..just need some better string to really show up good. Went to a couple more stores today looking for some neon colored string,..there was none to be found. :(

go to the lumber store and look for the floresent string lines for laying block.
