When you get a chance read .200 Required equipment. If I'm reading B and c right you only have to have an ext (if you are carrying flamable liquids, and you only have to have lights if your operating in dark lighting conditions or at night. but I'm reading this while the boy is bending my ear so I may be wrong.

Well I really don't know on the other stuff,..probably not because it's not gas powered.

I know my toon comes with a Certificate of Origin. Just guessing we may also have to get title along with license fee.

The lights we may or may not have to have,..which wouldn't be much of a problem to fix. I plan on doing some nite fishing with mine, but that will most likely be on river.

You think we will have to put Boat #'s on these things ?

If we could,..I just wonder what the true voltage is. It has 120 volt wall adapter that looks to be a reduced voltage type. Maybe reduced down to 12 volt DC ??

I looked at these at the wal mart and I don't think they will work on 12 volts. I went ahead and bought one that looks just like that one but worked off 12 volts only. It works well and I can pump my toon up at the location if need be(in about five min). The instructions for my toon said that you should always top off your toons with a hand pump not an electric. You will need a hand pump to take on the trips anyway since the sun will increase the pressure in the toons as the day goes along and you will have to keep it regulated. Or if you have a leak you will need to pump the toons back up .Your toon may come with a handpump some do.JMO

I just got through making a mount for the rod holders on the pontoon, I think these will work fine. I have to rig my anchor or chains next.

That looks good fish. I was looking at holders on wally world site and they don't appear to have as wide of throat (receive reel) as yours does. The wide throat will handle the fly reels better.

I purchased those at wal mart today they come in a two pack I'll send a pic of them in the package.

Sure wished I could get my toon in,..so I can start working on it getting it ready. I can see all kings of goodies I want to add to it.

Read where one guy added a tray to the side of his seat to hold small things he needed regularly,..said it was handy, and keep the river gods from getting them.

Yeah I keep seeing something to add everytime I go to a site on the net or go to walmart. I bought these for $15 at wal mart today they were on the top shelf in the boating section.

Thats not a bad price at all,..may run to wal mart in few minutes and see if they have them here before they get gone.!!!!

Have you read any about using a section of logging chain to attach to your anchor line(anchor off )and using it to slow your speed going down the river, allowing you more time to fish? I am in the process of making one for my toon, I'm still researching to make surre I get it right.

Read about that on the smallie site, look like the guy used 1/2 chain about 2-3 long. Tied in the middle with his anchor rope.

When I saw that, I just wondered how much under water noise(vibration) it gave off,..and if it would hurt fishing.

I thought the same thing but just about all of them do it . It must work they even do it with canoes and kayaks.

I think my toon comes with and nylon anchor bag of some sort, you put rocks in it before you get on the water,.. I may have to switch to chain.

From what I have read you may need both, the chain will not hold you stationary (just slow you down). You may still need the anchor bag for keeping the boat in one place in the river.

Well mine got here and been most of evening putting her together with son & grandson.

Grandson has paddled it for a couple of miles already rite in here the floor,
