Me and my buddy Gordy slayed the stripe on the French Broad yesterday. Caught 60-70, maybe more, including a few nice ones. We kept our limit cause Gordy likes them (too bony and too much work for me). Most were 12-14 inches with about 10 being chunkers.

We got to a boat ramp and asked if anyone was catching any and everyone said "too windy...theyre not biting". I kinda laughed because I knew they just had to not be fishing the right spots...the wind has nothing to do with it. So drove around and found a local who pointed us in the right direction and man was he dead on. In 2 hours we'd caught so many our arms were sore. Murdered em. I took one single bait down there and caught every fish on it...

Anyway we may even go back this evening. Heres the pics.
